Shriners, and their distinctive fezzes (the tasseled burgundy headwear), are among the most recognizable organizations and symbols in the world. You see Shriners at parades and many community events. Its members truly enjoy their association, where men of all walks of life gratefully convene to have fun, and do good works.
All Shriners are also Freemasons. Freemasonry (“the Masons”) is the world’s oldest, most widely known, and most widely respected fraternal organization for men in the world. It is founded on the principles of brotherly love, truth, and relief (or charity.) The only requirement to become a Mason is an upstanding character, and belief in a supreme being.
